Our name (pronounced “Fay of Eese”) is in reference to the mythological Bretoncity of Ys , as well as the opera Le roi d’Ys (wiki & full opera). It has similarities to the Greek tale of Atlantis. One of our earliest events took place under the water in Infinity Nikki, and our website went live directly before Music Season, so we found it fitting.
